Experimental Process

cAMP-CRP regulon was identified by cDNA microarray analysis. The results obtained from microarray studies were confirmed by RT-PCR. The 500-bp promoter region upstream of each CRP-dependent gene disclosed by cDNA microarray analysis was scanned with a PSSM consensus. cAMP-CRP binding to its target promoters was confirmed by EMSAs.
