Experimental Process

DNAse I footprinting was used to identify Zur-binding sites. To validate the binding of Zur to these sites EMSA analysis was performed. Beta-galactosidase reporter assay and qRT-PCR techniques were used to confirm Zur -mediated regulation of identified genes.
